XAMOUNT FAQs

• Is dosing of non liquid PPP possible?

  At present, liquid PPP can be dosed. Development of our system is continuing, and we are also looking into options for dosing granulates and Solid products.

• How tight is the lid? Can product leak when it is put on?

  The special easyconnect cap prevents the product from leaking. There is no direct contact between the product and the user at any time.

• When are PPP available with the easyconnect cap?

  Production of products with the easyconnect Cap has already started. Within the next years many products will have that lid.

• Do I still need my personal protective equipment?

  Right now, yes. There is currently no official assessment that allows personal protective equipment to be reduced or eliminated.

• Are there any subsidy programs that subsidize the purchase of a XAMOUNT?

  Currently, there are activities regarding subsidies in various countries.

• Where can I buy the XAMOUNT?

  There will be an actual list of authorized dealers on our website.

• How can I get the XAMOUNT connected to my sprayer?

  For the moment XAMOUNT is offered as a stand-alone. Connection to the sprayer via 1” hose and dry poppet coupling; fresh water supply via 13mm hose and 12 Volt power supply via standard plug DIN 9680.

• Is the XAMOUNT clean inside?

  The device is self-cleaning – all internal components are automatically rinsed after the flushing process. In case of an active ingredient change, we additionally recommend cleaning the suction hose separately to reliably avoid any residues. Using two devices can certainly be a practical solution if you frequently work with different active ingredients – this makes switching even easier.

• What is the minimum amount of liquid what can be dosed?

  The minimum extraction volume is 150 ml.

• Can the empty canister incl. cap be disposed of PAMIRA?

  Yes, after cleaning, the cans are placed on a special drip tray which presses in the inner lid into the canister. Cans can be disposed of with the cap on via PAMIRA.

• How is calibrating done, how much does it cost?

  The calibration will take place at the dealer with very little effort. Details are currently being clarified.

• Min/Max water pressure for cleaning?

  2 bar/10 bar. With more pressure, the cleaning efficiency increases, but so does the consumption of fresh water.

• Where can I find the densities of the plant protection products used?

    *The density specified in the Safety Data Sheet is legally binding.
• Will Lechler provide a tripod or similar support for product presentations or demonstrations or installation?

  We are currently exploring solutions, such as a trolley or other support options, but there is no finished product available for sale at this time.

• Who should the farmer contact first in case of a problem?

  Farmers should contact their distributor/dealer first, as they are the designated first point of contact and responsible for first-level support.

• Will calibration be required, particularly for partial dosing? If so, how often?

  In practice, it has been shown that under normal operating conditions, a check or calibration is usually sufficient about once a year. However, depending on usage intensity, operating conditions, and general handling of the device, a shorter interval may also be advisable. Calibration can be performed by trained dealers using special software.

• What is the advertised drain and wash cycle time?

  The standard cleaning cycle takes approximately 50 seconds. The operator can extend the duration up to three times for critical liquids or interrupt the cycle earlier for products that are easier to clean.
