Twin4Absorb

Advancement of the TwinAbsorb nozzles

The Twin4Absorb nozzles have been especially developed for an improved separation performance. Four overlapping spray nozzles generate additional jet collisions and thus, a more active reaction surface. Thanks to the spacious distribution, the Twin4Absorb is particularly suitable for the optimisation of existing washers.

Process-related benefits could be generated as

  • the volumetric flow that has previously been released from one nozzle (with a single spray cone) is now distributed into four spray cones which leads to an increased jet collision and thus more active reaction surface, even if the preliminary pressure remains the same
  • the fine droplets also have an improved spacious distribution which is important for the application of the entire washer cross-section.

Frequently, thanks to the Twin4Absorb the exiating pipelines can be maintained as these two double nozzles unite flow favourable to one nozzle with a connection.

As with all TwinAbsorb nozzles, the same applies for the Twin4Absorb, that due to the different swirl directions within the nozzle, in the proximity of the nozzle the tubulences and thus the interaction of the droplets is improved whereas the resulting impulse forces are dismissed for the entire system. However, with the Twin4Absorb the secondary atomisation intensifies this effect due to the four zones.

The Twin4Absorb is an outstanding alternative product for the Helix nozzle if there is a need for optimisation with regards to a free cross-section and droplet size, even if the existing pipelines cannot be modified.

Note:

Custom designs with special properties (left: full cone nozzles / right: hollow cone nozzles, etc.) are possible.
