No compromises on weed control in sugar beet

The basis for an economical and efficient cultivation of sugar beet is, among others, the effective control of weeds and grasses.

An optimized deposition and coverage of the still small weeds or grasses is best achieved via double flat fan nozzles. The second spray jet and the deflection of the flat fans in the direction of travel to the forward and the rear reduce spray shadows, improve deposition and thus, ensure the biological efficacy.

The IDKT nozzle series as a compact air injector twin flat spray nozzle offers the best conditions for this at 1.5 - 3 bar. With the asymmetrical air injector twin flat spray nozzle IDTA, the goals are achieved at pressures of 4 - 8 bar and speeds from 10 km/h.

The nozzles show a high drift reduction potential which helps under difficult weather conditions and complies with the buffer zone requirements. Approvals with up to 90% drift reduction are available for the IDKT and IDTA in many countries.
