Desulphurization applications
Wet desulphurization
Separation of sulphur oxides (SOx) and other acidic components (HCl, HF) by injecting lime suspension (limestone or lime water) into the absorber.
Semi-dry desulphurization
Injection of lime slurry into the spray absorber to clean the gases mainly from SOx but also other acid components like HCl and HF.
Dry desulphurization
Cooling and humidification of the flue gas to support SOx and HCI separation in the circulating dry scrubber (CDS).
