95% drift reduction of IDK 90 series sets new standards

New milestones in crop protection for spray booms with nozzle spacing 25 cm now with 95% drift reduction without gaps for the IDK 90 series from nozzle sizes -015 to -04. This is now completed by the Lechler air-Injector compact flat spray nozzles IDK 90-025 C and Lechler IDK 90-03 C.

Lechler nozzles IDK 90-025 C and Lechler IDK 90-03 C set new standards with 90% and 95% drift reduction up to 8 bar

In this way, Lechler once again demonstrates its expertise in drift-reducing nozzle technology, bringing the crop protection products applied by the boom sprayer to their target as safely and effectively as possible with reduced losses.

The IDK 90-03 C, suitable for boom sprayers with 25 cm nozzle spacing, has been included in the JKI list 'Loss-Reducing Devices – Drift Reduction'. According to JKI, the use of the IDK 90-03 C enables effective drift reduction and deep crop penetration, even under unfavourable weather conditions. The entries in the 95% drift reduction class enables spray pressures of up to 8 bar, a nozzle distance of 25 cm and a distance between nozzle and target area of 40 cm.

IDK 90-03 C nozzle now JKI approved with 95% drift reduction over the entire pressure range from 1.5 – 8 bar
IDK 90-03 C nozzle – now JKI approved with 95% drift reduction over the entire pressure range from 1.5 – 8 bar.

In addition to the existing 95% drift reduction class, the IDK 90-025 C has also been registered in the 90% drift reduction class with a nozzle distance of 25 cm and a boom height of 40 cm. The additional registration enables a maximum spray pressure of 8 bar.

IDK 90-025 C Düse now JKI approved with 95% and 90% drift reduction.
IDK 90-025 C nozzle – now JKI approved with 95% and 90% drift reduction.

For the IDK 90-015C, the JKI has extended the pressure range to include the drift reduction classes 75% up to 7 bar and 90% up to 2 bar at 25 cm nozzle distance and 40 cm target area distance.
