Especially for the cleaning of agitators as well as equipment where spray shadow areas occur, the cleaning nozzles of the PopUp Clean series are used. The special design allows the nozzles easily been installed in the lower area of a tank. If necessary, the nozzle, which extends from the housing in response to a certain fluid pressure, can loosen even stubborn contamination with a powerful hollow cone jet. Once cleaning has completed, the nozzle disappears back into the tank wall.

Depending on the requirements, the compactly designed nozzles can easily be installed flush with the tank wall by using a tri-clamp or threaded flange. Due to a careful selection of high-quality materials, the PopUp Clean has a very high corrosion resistance. The nozzle can be ordered in 316L (spring material 316Ti) as well as Alloy 22 (spring material Alloy 4). CIP- and SIP-capable O-rings made of FKM ensures a reliable seal when closed and comply with Regulation EC1935/2004 and FDA standards.

This makes the cleaning nozzle ideal for a safe and sanitary production as required in the food and beverage industry, as well as for applications in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Suitable weld-in flanges for the PopUp Clean are also available in the Lechler product range.
